I saw a post like this before a good while back and the pimple turned out to be the cories nostril!

Is it possible for yout o post a photo? It's really hard to tell what you mean without one.

well i looked like it could be normal, but the other little guy or my big guy didnt have it. i think it might be unique to him or something... cuz from side view he looks perfectly normal.

and i tired.. but they just wouldnt let me take a picture lol

its like.. right above his mouth, its lighter in colour than the rest of his body in one spot..

its probably normal since hes acting fine but idk!

I had someone ask me about this in a LFS today, they said theyre dwarf gourami had pretty much the same thing you discribed, and died when it burst.

my first thought was tumour of some sort, but they dont usually burst, im now thinking its possibly bacterial.

i will have to brush up on my freshwater desases, cause for the life of me i dont remember anything with this system

well its not like its popping out.. it likes a blurred white spot

lol IDK! hes not dead and i dont want to say he might.. but we will see how he does :)

Interesting. I believe it's best to obtain a picture of fish with "pus".

MegK: Has that cory been injured as far as you know? Keep a watch on it closely. A lot of causes can be linked from it. Whether it is bacterial or viral infection, we do not know. Consider euthanasia immediately as a precaution if a fish does not eat.
