New to Cichlids
 

I have a 36 Gal Bowfront I plan on stocking with Cichlids. I was going to plant it but chickened out, but I have many fake decor to separate areas/territories. Here is my Stocking list, I'm new to Cichlids so any tips would be appreciated.

1 pair of Bolivian Rams
1 pair of German Blue Rams -OR- 1 pair of apistos

School of Dwarf Neon Rainbows

Possibly a pair of Veil Angels

From my research I've heard this is an okay possibility as long as they have good temperaments.

Hello and welcome to TFK :-D I would suggest only keeping one species of cichlid in the tank. Most cichlids even the more peaceful ones can get very territorial when they are spawning and if you have several pairs, this could lead to issues down the road. I would suggest either doing a pair of bolivian ram, or a harem of Apistogramma cacatuoides if doing the dwarf neon rainbowfish. The temps that you would need to keep the Blue Ram at would be on the high end of suitable temp for dwarf neon rainbowfish.
