lately i ave noticed few small worms creeping around my aquarium. they are very lean and lanky and some what very pale yellow with pink tinch.
what the HELL IS THIS? How do i treat this?
I have seen similar worms in all my tanks at one time or another and never worried about them. Some are planaria, some are just the odd worm that gets in the tank from a fly, midge or other insect. I have never seen an ill effect one my fish nor snails from them.
maybe do an extra bit of gravelvac this month,if
you are worried,i don't think they are anything to
worry about as fish_4_all has said.
hmm if i had that happen to me i would think of it this way
FREE FISH FOOD :D :D :D
If it's planaria this is caused by overfeeding. Cut down on feeding a bit, maybe change to every second day rather than every day if that's what you currently do for a few weeks, and do a thorough gravel vac which should get rid of most of them. Planaria are little white thread like worms, in case you were having trouble identifying them.
