pink tail chalceus ?
LFS has some .... they are abit pricey but they look unusual .. would like to hear the pro's and con's ....
The species is Chalceus macrolepidotus [not yet in our profiles as few have it]. Attains 10 inches, and is very much a predator. It lives at the surface. Although shoaling (lives in a large group), apparently it will manage singly in a large aquarium. But it will eat smaller fish.
OK thanks for the heads up !!!! LOL , had I wanted a Wet Pet , I would had stuck with some of the Viejas I used to have ....
I've always liked these guys. They don't have a bad temperament, but (as with most any fish) will eat what they can swallow. They are interesting and always hanging out in view.
They seem cool , although seem to be exported in on a regular basis at this moment , but that all can change quick , and in the past it seemed to be somewhat harder to find on the price list . And they are abit more expensive as well.
