LFS has some .... they are abit pricey but they look unusual .. would like to hear the pro's and con's ....

You will probably want to avoid this fish. Unless you have a very large tank. And don't mind them eating everything else.

The species is Chalceus macrolepidotus [not yet in our profiles as few have it]. Attains 10 inches, and is very much a predator. It lives at the surface. Although shoaling (lives in a large group), apparently it will manage singly in a large aquarium. But it will eat smaller fish.

OK thanks for the heads up !!!! LOL , had I wanted a Wet Pet , I would had stuck with some of the Viejas I used to have ....

I've always liked these guys. They don't have a bad temperament, but (as with most any fish) will eat what they can swallow. They are interesting and always hanging out in view.

They seem cool , although seem to be exported in on a regular basis at this moment , but that all can change quick , and in the past it seemed to be somewhat harder to find on the price list . And they are abit more expensive as well.
