low light, not-tasty plants

i want to have plants in my tank, but my swordtails seem to like eating them. i currently have java ferns and wisteria and i have some water sprite on it's way. are the swords likely to eat these (the java fern seems to be safe, but i'm not sure about the other ones)? are there other plants i should look into that don't need much light? i tried jungle val, but the swords all but eat them to death (i have a tiny stump of one of the two i bought left, sitting in a jar. hopefully it will grow)

You can give anubias a try, they have thicker leaves, so maybe they wont touch them. And they do better in low light. (Algae can accumulate on them since they grow so slowly)
