stocking my tank
I think I have decided to stock my 35G tank with
A big school of neons maybe 25
A Bristle nose
5 corys (not sure what species yet)
Dunno what else yet.
Too much to choose from :D
One of my favourites is loaches....there are a few to chose from but the clowns can be quite comical. Rasboras are also a nice choice.
Can't wait to hear what you decide on :D
fyi clown loaches wont work in a 35 they get huge!
i would put some kinda top swimminer in your tank, such as guppies or hatchets.
yes tis a shame about clown loaches, however
there are different ones to choose from, :)
i've got YoYo loaches, and they are always on the go.and as Witchery said Rasboars are nice.
good luck, and best of all enjoy.
Yeh clown laoches get way to big, and should be kept in a group, so tank is way to small.
maybe another school of rasboras with the black triangle on them (harlequin maybe?)
and maybe some guppies.
would any of the fish i have mentioned eat the guppies fry because i dont want to end up with millions of fish lol?
While not nearly so colorful, striped loaches are every bit as entertaining as clowns, and stay relatively small. Mine are all over a year, and none of them is more than 2.5 inches (though they can get up to 4) (Compare to my yoyos which started out about an inch and are pushing 4 a year later, and can get up to 6). Kuhlis are also a trip and a half, but you have to have at least 6 in the tank or you'll see them once in a blue moon.
