Seachem Stress Guard
 

anyone familar with this product? I wanted to find a good product when adding new fish. I know about stress coat but have heard bad things about the aloe vera that is in it. Is stress guard worth buying or is there something better

This is best if added to the shipping water when transporting fish long distances. I would not use it in an established aquarium. Fish have a remarkable ability to heal themselves in clean stable water. Most water conditioners contain some form of slime coat protection anyway, which is more than adequate.
