PetSmart Labor Day Sale
I am planning on taking advantage of the labor day fish sale at Petsmart by purchasing another red wag Platy (better fm/m ratio and curb aggression). I was also looking at Gouramis to add to the tank. One question I have is will they be suitable in my tank setup? Please see my "aquarium" tab for more info.
General rule is only ONE gourami to a tank. they can be very aggressive. (and never ever with a betta) I have one pearl gourami and it's the calmest sweetest thing in the tank. sweeps around slow motion.... you would never know this same fish continuously attacked another pearl gourami in the same 75 gal tank. And because of the colouring, the LFS usually only have tanks full of males. so pick one. Maybe a dwarf, something that won't get too big for your tank. Hope that helps.
