Just got them today!


They are acclimating and I snapped a few bad pics. :-)

They were marked "Emerald Pike Cichlids" I know there are quite a few bunched into that group.


I slightly redecorated my 46. Once I get them in the tank and the lights are back over the tank I'll get some shots.

How many did you get? I've never ever seen or heard of those before! Didn't find much on Google either. Can't wait to see more pics.

You may want to figure out what type of Pike Cichlid you have. After doing a quick google search, there are several Dwarf Pikes that only reach 3-4 inches, some that get 6-10 inches and some that reach 18-24 inches. You could run into some stocking issues in your tank depending on the species. Very pretty fish though, hope it works out.

They get 14-20 inches. I'm moving across the country in either Dec or Apr and then I will get a big tank for them.

I got 3 since I only have a 46g right now.


I have a better camera now so hopefully I can get some decent pictures.
