Anarchis plants
 
Do Anarchis plants die quickly? I bought one bunch last month and they turned brown within two or three weeks. My other plants are thriving. I have a fern, water wisteria, and Amazon swords. All are doing well except for the anarchis. Any thoughts from more experienced people? Thank you, Lonnie

This stem plant does better in cooler water, which is why it is so useful in garden ponds and goldfish tanks (goldfish will eat it obviously). I had no luck with it, it always falls apart within weeks.

If those other plants are doing well, I would forget Anacharis. Cabomba might be a substitute.
