my dad just did something stupid and bought a crayfish for our community tank. for some weird reason my female betta keeps eating at his eyeball and he goes to eat her and luckily she getting away fast enough. I knew this was a bad idea. but we just got home and i am not running out to return him now. will he actually hurt any of my fish? If so what is a temporary fix for a couple days until i can return him. please help and fast!

You could put your betta in a small QT tank if you have one or a large bowl. It should be fine for the night so long as you dont keep your house freezing or 100 degrees. :P
Then take the crayfish back tomorrow if you need to.
