Do guppies like water movement
i read somewhere that guppies like water movement but i just established a 26 gallon and all I have in it are three red tuxedo guppies and when i turn on the bubble curtain i bought they all swim to the farthest possible corner and just sit there. When I turn the bubbles of they go back to swimming normally. I stuck my hand in the tank and the bubbles aren't even strong enough to stop a fish from swimming normally.
Can you clarify this for me because In my other tank when I turn the bubbles on they don't do anything out of the ordinary. ????????

I would say it's either to strong or they are just not use to it, just because it's doesn't feel strong to your hand doesn't mean it's not to strong for your little fish. You can by a thing at the fish store or walmart can't remember the name of it right now but it allows you to control the air flow you just put it in line of your tubing. You could also try to leave curtain on for a while and see if they get use to it. What size tank is your air pump rated for? When I had bubble curtains I left them on all the time.

I myself would turn it on and if they don't get used to it in a day or so I'd go buy a regulator so you can turn it down I think it's only $3.
