Saltwater Flake Food
A guy came in yesterday to our store and donated some of the most colorful and beautiful fish I've ever seen. He told me that someone had told him to feed saltwater flake foods to your freshwater fish because they have more color-enhancing ingredients. I was just wondering if someone could confirm this. He told me it's very difficult to find the flakes and never knew that they existed.
I've never tried that yet but the ingredients appear to be almost similar to the FW products.:? Color enhancers are found in other fish food products, not just for the saltwater.
Well, I brought home some samples. I'm going to introduce the flakes into my discus's diet and see if there are any results. I'll post anything noteworthy in probably another week.
If I might suggest, it would be good to post the ingredients and guaranteed analysis as well.:)
i would be interested aswell,
as i bought Tetra colour inhancing food,
and have just introduced it.
