Term Squaring Off?
I've seen the term "squaring off" used several times here when talking about pregnant platties. What exactly does this mean and how can I tell when the platy has "squared off"? Do they look square from the front or back. The pregnant platy I have look more round to me. :)

Cows square off as well, If that helps. Basically, they reach capacity and there is a notable dip upwards at the aft end of their belly as viewed from the side. Additionally as viewed from on top their belly appears to flare out on both sides then return abruptly, as opposed to the swollen look.

It's good to know the difference between swollen and pregnant appearance. One might be sick and the other pregnant.
