Update on my tank + stocking question
Some months after my previous topic, here's an update on my tank.
One of my biggest fears is now behind me: the whole thing survived my vacation of two weeks and a half, with no loss of fish or plants. Good! I eventually did lose some colombian tetras, and I only have one left. I've decided to phase out the species to focus on something else instead. I also had a nasty battle against cyanobacteria that I was able to get on top off (and good riddance!).
I ended up replacing some of my fake plants with real ones. That Vallisneria Torta looks especially neat for the way the leaves have a clear spiral shape that isn't something you'd expect from a natural plant.
I also have a stocking question to ask. My aquarium is a 20 gallons, currently holding 6 cherry barbs, 6 rummynose tetras, 4 dwarf neon rainbowfish and 1 colombian tetra. Have I reached my stocking limit, or can I still add a few more fish? I already ran the numbers through AqAdvisor, but I'd like some comments from experienced people as well.
I would not advise adding any more fish.
It looks very nice and I agree with 1077 i would not add more fish.
i would add more fish but start another larger tank for when the fish mature
