Will bulb plants grow when detatched from the bulb?
I was trimming my dwarf lilly which grows like crazy in my 30 gallon, when its roots detached from the bulb. It has some roots so I replanted it but have not seen new growth. Will the leaves eventually die? Im OK if it does, because the bulb sprout is growing now in my 10 gallon since more light reaches the substrate, and I could just move it to my 30 when it is big enough, or I may use it in my 5 instead of penny wort because the pennywort is kinda a pain.
You are very lucky because bulb / rhizome plants are very easy to cultivate vs runners and stalk plants :)
