Has her chest dropped to have her tummy form a square shape? If you overview her, her sides should look like a box. If so, it shouldn't be long now. Is this your first time? If you want to save her fry, she will need an area by herself to birth. I would suggest a small tank. I use a three gallon as a birthing tank for mine. Breeder traps can stress them out too much. Make sure she has lots of food so she wont eat the babies. The fry will eat flakes crushed into a powder. Best of luck to you, and keep us posted!

the guppy can give birth at any time :) i would put her in a seperate tank to let her give birth unless shes the only fish in the tank if she isnt then if she has the fry in there they will get eaten when i bough a guppy from the store she looked like she was holding fry but she was barley chubby and then i saw that there were eyes instead of a gravid spot so i put her into a seperate tank the next day when i cam back from school there were fry in the tank but i put 2 plants and left the light off so that the female guppy couldnt see them good and eat them but what confused me was that she never got a box shaped belly and she was barley fat and gave birth to 15 healthy fry they are now 5 days old in there own tank and i feed them crushed up flakes
