New Pink Convicts

Yesterday I got my pink convicts that were being held for me. They have been pretty shy for the first 24 hours, but I was able to get a couple of pictures of them. I am planning on adding more fake plants around the tank, and also add some floating plants possibly real and fake to see if can help to make them feel more comfortable.

Oooo haven't seen pink convicts before. They are nice looking!

On a different note (this might sound like a dumb question). What kind of pots are those and where do you get them. I have seen them in different tanks before and have always wondered? I am thinking about putting a couple in my puffers tank.

Nice looking cons and the tank looks superb. GL with them.

Thanks seen them at the store for the last few weeks, and everytime I went back in I always stopped to look at them. Finally decided that I was going to take them home, they have already spawn in the stores tank, so I think they should do well here. The pots that I used at terra cotta pots, I picked mine up at walmarts, for less than a dollar a piece. You want to make sure that they are unglazed. Also you can find them at home depot or lowes, and they have even smaller sizes available there.

Thanks, just added the background and picked up some fake plants, since I have heard they can be rough on the real ones. Also have some real plants floating on top, myriophyllum mattogrossense which is a stem plant and have found it does well when left floating. Within five minutes of doing these changes my cons started coming out and investigating more.
