Planning 10 gallon for threadfin rainbow...
Ok I have an empty 10 gallon that I can no longer resist setting up again  and am thinking about useing it as a species tank for threadfin rainbows. I am thinking about trying sand and I would like to use plants that are from there natural habitat so can you guys tell me what plants are from Western New Guinea and Northern Australia. I am thinking a sponge filter would be good filteration since they occurs in slow-flowing or still streams, lagoons, ditches and swamps. Also since these guy have such really small mouths do you think it would be ok to add my cherry shrimp to the tank?
you couldn't stand the calling from the tanks could you
LOL no I couldn't it is going to be a slow process because money is tight but I figure if I work slowly on this one it will keep me from filling up the others again. ; )
Your other thread about Pseudomugil gertrudae (I think) piqued my interest so I started to search for more info and came across AQUAGREEN. It has a long list of native Australian plants - it also has some general info regarding Pseudomugil gertrudae as well.
 here we go again ... more tanks + more tanks = many more tanks
Thank you Quantum.
Kitten I just can't help myself exspecially being bored and out of work. LOL
