Help identifying plant...
Fell IN love with this plant at a new pet store that opened across from my normal LFS. Fish selection was comparable to walmart, but their plant selection was superior and more varied than both of my LFS's and my petsmart!
So, the plant is tall as heck, I am pretty sure its a medium to high light plant...crossing fingers for medium as I dont have high light. Its been doing good for a month now.
It has a bulb root, and the leaves are like ribbon dancers, and then it has four vines coming up the middle that are twice as tall as the plant (which is already taller than my 29g tank), and the vines all search and poke out of the water and have little tiny white and yellow flower buds on them.
I dont have any great pics of it, but am attaching a few I managed to take... it is the plant in the far right front of the tank.
Any guesses to what this beautiful plant is? My betta is IN love with it too! And I scored it for only $6!

found this info for you
According to the info you found (which I really appreciate!) it seems I have the right environment for the plant.
As my tank parameters are:
I have it in the front instead of background, but the thing is soo big it really takes up the whole right side of the tank! Glad to know what it is!
Totally awesome of you to be so extremely helpful! Truly grateful! Thank you!
Amanda, Aponogeton require a vegetative rest period, during which they will drop most of their leaves. Only one species does not do this, it is in our profiles though I can't remember which one at the moment. Most of us don't bother about the "rest" but just realize that the plant will look rather drab at that time.
so don't throw it away  your welcome hun and it's great you have just the right parameters for it :-D
