She has 3 nice beds but...
prefers to sleep in my clothes basket. LOL Her name is Ginger for those that have not seen her before and she was my Christmas gift for myself last year. I adopted her from the local shelter and I love her to pieces and I think the feeling is mutual. So does any one else have a dog that sleeps in a wierd spot?

LOL Maybe Ginger thinks she's a cat. The laundry basket is my cat's favorite sleeping spot. Especially when there's laundry in it.

i bet she feels more secure when she smell the smells of her owner in the laundry basket lol

Good point. Just out of curiosity I'd put one of your worn t-shirts in one of her beds and see if she goes for it.

Ginger is so sweet :)

Electricblue-thats funny that she sleeps between the washer and dryer. ; )
Jeaninel my moms cat does the same thing.
She does have one of my shirts on the one in the living room and she will lay in it when I am in the living room, I will have to try it for the bed in the bedroom tonight and see if it works.
Thanks Romad I think shes pretty special to and she likes the fact that I am with her almost 24 hours a day now aince I am out of work because of my back.

I'll bet she's the best companion :) I've wanted a dog for a long time but we're not home 12 or 13 hours out of the day and it wouldn't be fair to a dog.

It's no problem for my fish addiction tho :)

LOL yeah thats the good thing about fish there not very needy. You could always adopt an older dog from a shelter they would be happier in your home than on death row in a shelter. I voluntered for a while years ago at a shelter and it was almost always the older ones that did not make it back out. I couldn't do it anymore it was to hard on my heart. : (
