sorry for the bad quiality, i used my cell phone camera. today is tank cleaning day but i havent dont it yet.
So far what you see now is 2 pieces of driftwood. Very tiny pieces of java moss is growing on it (like the random pieces of moss growing on it). the green blob floating on the top left if Riccia fluitians (crytstalwort). The bottom right glass plant is dwarf hairgrass. The plants on the bottom middleis java fern, pennywort, and a random anubias plant. The tall plants are unknown, they were entangled in the riccia when i bought them, they were less than an inch when i put them in a few months ago....now they more than a foot.
The driftwood keeps popping up when i clean the tank and it shifts the substrate, uprooting plants...
i want to drain the tank and super glue the wood to the bottom of the tank.
Anyway.... any suggestions? since im taking the tank apart... any suggestions?

Use silicone not super glue.

attach the wood to slate. That way if you ever want to get rid of it later one, it wont be attached to your tank and force you to break the entire thing down to remove it.

how big should the slate be? super glue is bad for the tank?

Big enough to make it sink. Test it out in the bathtub or something. Set it on the top of the wood to make sure it sinks then attach it with aquarium safe silicone or you can even drill small holes in the slate and tie it with fishing line.

yes, super glue is terrible for aquariums

since when is super glue bad for aquariums? i know a few of the DIY people use it and have had no problems... I wouldnt personally, but saying that its bad for the aquarium without evidence that its bad is... well bad.
