Pic of my new tank. Too crowded? My first tank. A 36 gallon bow. 5 tiger barbs, 2 mollys, 2 bala sharks and 1 iridescent shark. Im thinking about returning the 2 bala sharks b.c they just hide in the back and NEVER come out. Plus the tank is too small for 3 sharks. However, Im already planning on upgrading to a bigger tank. 2 live plants and 2 tall fake plants. I dont like the fake plants but I cant find anything live that is as tall as the fake ones. Do I have too much decor in this tank? and whats the take on air bubbles. I have 3 sections of air bubbles (left middle and right side). All 3 sources have valves on them so I can adjust the bubble speed. Too many bubbles? http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/7202/cimg1269v.jpg |
ah well i think it looks nice, but it does seem a little crowded for a 36 with that many fish. so i would agree on re-homing the balas. as for the decor personally i would take out the tall wood to the left until you have a bigger tank, the dragons alot smaller so the bubbles have more of an effect. other than that cool set up !:-D |
Agree, I think without the root piece the tank will look better. Everything else is related, for a better "complete" scene. Bubbles are up to you, without live plants they are not harmful. I would get 3 more Tiger Barb, i think I talked about this in another thread of yours. And yes, the sharks will be real trouble at some point when they settle, their natural instincts will begin to show. |
Thanks all. Ive decided to redo my tank setup completely. I returned all the fish and Im designing my tank for african ciclhids instead |
