hello

hello, not new to aquariums, im 41 got into the industry at 8 got out of it at around 90-91 got back into fish keeping in around 2004ish nothing big. (married in 92) I may ask questions that are redundant. Sorry in advance. I got out just when central filtration was getting big and i missed that train and went back to my old undergravel filter hob area. I read alot but again please forgive me asking something that may seem stupid. Im hoping to meet fellow mainers so i can look at sumps or homemade trickle filters. I can read but its better to see it for me. hands on sorta thing. I belong to a few forums, i only comment when i think i might know an answer. or im really peaked that someone has something that ive always wanted but dont have the money to maintain and gawk over. (or drool)(mostly drool)
Thanks,
Vic

ps, was gonna say more about myself but felt it better to shut up i have no one experience in any fish, no saltwater, limited brackish, mostly fresh.

pss. i wrote to contact us for help on introducing myself, and i understand they have lives(sorry for whover has to read it). in hindsight, i still think i should have waited for a response. but hello

Hi Vic...

 Welcome to the forum, lovely to have you join us!

Hi Vic - welcome to TFK.

We're all here to help so don't hesitate to ask questions even if you think they're silly.

We all started out the same way and this forum has helped me set up and keep a healthy set of tanks for years now. And we never stop learning.

Good luck.

Welcome. Everyone here is great at answering any questions you might have. Don't worry about asking redundant questions. There is a lot of info available and sometimes it might seem that some info contradicts other info. Everyone learns differently and everyone has different experiences and knowledge. People on this site, from my POV, try to answer questions honestly and with the best of intents.
