Is this a good deal? Used Equipment
 

I have a chance to buy the following setup:

80 gal tank w/stand
8 powerheads
2 submerged heaters
full hood with lights & nightlights setup with timer
timer for powerheads so they change direction at set intervals
skimmer - don't know what kind - will ask
2 emperor filters

Tank has not been set up for almost 2 years - due to lack of finances & time of owner.
Owner is asking $500

I am going to go look at it in a couple days. Any questions I should ask or redflags to look for?

Actually that sounds like a pretty good deal since it comes with everything. The timer for the powerheads sounds cool. the major question to ask is...Is there any leaks or scratches? Make sure to scrub and clean anything you get that is used especially if it goes inside the tank. Some people use vinegar to clean their equipment, I haven't personally used vinegar yet. I just upgraded my tank yesterday and bought it used, I found this link helpful and thought I would pass it along to you, in case you buy the used set up :-)
