New CO2 system on the way!
I am just waiting for delivery of my new CO2 system, it is fully automatic so that should be nice. My current PH level is 7.2ish and I want to bring it down to 6.8. I was thinking I could start by setting the CO2 system at 7.2 and then gradually bring it down a point. I am wondering how often I should drop the CO2 a point, every week, every couple days? Any extra input is also welcome.
Incase you are curious, I am getting this setup: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113779
I got a sweet price on eBay and it includes the CO2 bottle!
Anyone? I plan on setting this up tonight so let me know if you have any suggestions!
Ok, it is all set up and running. I hear a lot of people mention "4 bubbles/minute" so I am trying to adjust it to that frequency but I can't seem to get it any slower than 1 bubble every 5 seconds. Is this ok for a 90gal? Any pointers? Before I turned it on it read 7.5pH and I want to bring it down to 6.8 so I set the regulator at 7.4 and I will just keep turning it down slowly as it reaches that point. Is this ok?
u'll get some good help here mon. worth a try...
Thanks for the link, I'll check it out now.
