Can I plant my aquarium anytime i want?
i have bought a new 50 gal tank, and i wonder if i can add my fish, and then put some plants after some days.. can i do it?
Sure but it might be easier to add the plants before the fish.
That way you can spend as much time as you want laying out the design without stressing your fish. And plants will be beneficial while trying to cycle your tank.
Welcome to TFK
Yeah, add the plants first, trust me on that lol
When adding plants to a tank at any time, a good idea is keep a pail of water that you have taken from your tank during the water change and gently wash the plants off before putting them in the tank. This helps get rid of some of the dead crap and things that you don't want to have to clean out of your tank afterwards.
Adding plants to a tank that has been filled it much more difficult than aquascaping the tank and then filling it. If you have filled the tank already it's not a huge deal, but whenever I am starting a planted tank from scratch I put the plants in them fill it.
oh right! i note all this information, and do the best i can! thanks
