Nice rams.8)

willow 08-13-2007 03:30 AM

well im hoping they last longer than the last ones,
other wise i'm not ever going to by any more,
i will face the fact that this is one perticular species
that i am unable to keep alive.

Lovely looking fish willow, and I wish you all the best with them. Do you have soft water - as rams tend not to thrive in harder water conditions. Oh - and did you get any more neons?

willow 08-13-2007 04:02 AM

hi
yep got more neons, :)
i have added wood to the tank this time in the hope that this
was the mistake i made in the beginning, that the
water was too hard.
i shall check the ph again shortly, other wise i need
to look at adding somethng to lessen the ph,
i have a see shell outside would that help.?

Sea shells help increase the pH.:)

Adding some bogwood to the tank will help over time, but I wouldn't use any chemicals to lower the pH as this can cause instability and cause more problems.

How many neons did you get Lainey?

willow 08-13-2007 05:57 AM

ok no sea shell.(got my numptie head on(whats new)
i bought 6,so now i have 10. :)
