2 plecos/one tank? Hey all!! Its been awhile I know. So I moved a few months ago now,but have yet to move my fish over. I have been contemplating how to go about it and just had a thought today. Is it possible to have 2 BN plecos in one tank? If so,how big a tank would it have to be so they would live peacefully with each other. I am searching on CL for a good deal on a tank and stand, but would like to know what ya'll think first. My dark BN is bigger than my albino BN by maybe an inch or so. They both have grown since I have had them, but neither are that big yet. Thanks~ |
The common ancitrus I believe is their family, gets 4-5 inches and I would say 40 gallon for the two of them. with rocks galore |
Okay thanks. I'm looking at a 55 or a 60. Posted via Mobile Device |
then you should be fine |

This type of info is included in our fish profiles, and the Bristlenose Pleco is in the profiles. Just so you know; it pays to check the profiles.;-) They need wood by the way, rather than rock. |
Haha I always forget about that!! I found an awesome deal On a 55. Hopefully I can get it and get my fish over finally. Posted via Mobile Device |
Well I got the tank. It's in pretty much excellent condition. Just some calcium deposit stains and horrible color painted on the back lol. Can't wait to get it up and running. Posted via Mobile Device |
what color |
The paint is gray. But it's starting to peel off anyways. I'd like black or dark blue. Posted via Mobile Device |
