I have had little luck with my earlier post. Here is the deal. I had purchased 2 fisht that I thought were Lace catfish. I was under the an understanding i was purchasing Lace catfish. I think I may have been duped. I think what actually i had purchased were upside down catfish. I am unsure. Heck im even unsure if maybe lace is an upside down breed of catfish. Anyhow they swim sometimes upside down, but they look much different then the upside down catfish I already have. My upside down catfish is black with spots on his tail. His fin looks differnt then the new catfish i had purchased. I have a picture of what they look like on the link below. Can someone please tell me what it is I have, And if i have been duped by pretty looking upside down catfish......
Well the best I can tell you is that I have never seen a catfish look like that that wasn't an upside down catfish.
I will look more to find the specific species but I have had no luck so far.
I knew someone would find it. Good Job Gump! A quick google search will give a lot of pictures.
Really cool looking cat.
Cool. Finally I know what kind of fish it is! How large does it grow? Now it it concidered an upside down? Or what is it?
Its in the same family as upside down cats and can get around 10"
