hi everyone i have a single female krib!
there was a male but he got a rally bad infection and died:(
i was thinking about gtting another one but i really want them to breed. i have a fifty five gallon ith community fish. should i get an exta female or two and does it matter if they are albino?
the tank is fully planted ith some dift wood should i add anything else to encourage them like shells?
ive always found that plant pots work relly well for them. The only thing with breeding them in a community aquarium is the fact that they get aggresive when breeding. So make sure the other species have a place to escape and that none of them are slow or fragile. Also have u thought about where you are going to re home the babys when they grow up
I don't think your kribs should pose a huge problem in your tank even a breeding pair. It dosen't matter if they are albino or not they will still breed together. Kribs are excellent parents and it will be fun watching them gaurd their babies. You should have a place to place the fry when they get too big. Most LFS can take them and people might be interested if you are interested in making a profit. It shouldn't be hard to get rid of fry from kribs.
