Bolivian Rams, eggs removed Well they spawned today, when I came home the eggs were already partially covered with sand, just move some 2 month old platys out of a 10 gallon and going to throw the eggs in there. I have a small water pump acting as a power head to hopefully act as the female fanning the eggs. We'll see what happens, at this point I will be happy to just have a couple make it to free swimming. |
Just remembered about snails in 10 gallon tank....... eggs now in plastic container with the heater, water pump and air stone...... we'll see how this works now... |
Well about 8-10 or so survived to the wriggler stage, things are looking up.... |
How exciting! I hope they continue to grow successfully. Can't wait to see pictures of them. I am sure that pretty soon your breeding pair will be going for round two. What are your plans for the babies? Does your fish store buy them from you? |
How exciting! Hope they all make it. |

But they are still wiggling on the bottom so I'm pretty hopeful, been researching brine shrimp and decapsulation, another couple of days and these guys will be hungry. |
Well free swimming began today so things are looking up, about 3 or 4 of them are wandering the water, and a good number are still trying to make flight, just started my brine shrimp so hopefully will have some ready in 24 hours or so. |
