Ghost Shrimp Diet for Jewel Cichlids?

Today I bought 8 ghost shrimp for my 30g tank that houses 3 Jewel Cichlids and a Convict that all get along really well. When I dumped in the ghost shrimp the Cichlids went CRAZZZZYYYYYY and ate them all. It was the coolest feeding ever!!

I was wondering if the ghost shrimp would be a good treat for them every once in a while or is probally to high of a protein diet or something else?

I feed them NLS Cichlid formula and blood worms here in there.

Ghost shrimp are fine as an occasional treat. The NLS is a good staple diet.
