Whats this on my crayfish's tail??? Please help!!!
 

Hi there appears to be something on my crayfish's tail. To me, it looks like some sort of fungus? Ive attached a picture of it but its hard to get a clear shot of it. It appears that one of the tail's 'fin' (not the swimmeret) has something on it and parts of that 'fin' is gone. She just moulted last night and I thought that it would have gotten rid of it but its still there. Please help, I dont know how to treat it. If its a fungul infection, should I treat her with some multi cure i have thats intended for fish though? It says it treats fungal infections in fishes so im not sure how that would work on a crustacean? Sorry this is like the 3rd time ive posted but mostly cause i didnt attach a photo the first two times and forgot so yea... whoops. Any suggestions are greatly appreaciated. I was even thinking of cutting off the infected area of the tail cause they can regenerate it yea? But thats just kinda cruel, would rather a less 'invasive' method. Thanks.

really difficult to tell. It looks more like discoloration than an actual growth.

Thanks for the reply, its actually an orange-ish coloured bump. Im not sure if i should have but i removed it yesterday by kinda pulling it off (gently of course and paying attention as to not damage the rest of the tail). It came off as some sort of orange tissue that was solid. She seems to be fine at the moment.

it could have just been something as simple as a bad molt last time.

nah it was there before the moult and i thought it would have gone away with the moult but it didnt, so yea
