Freshwater Barracuda-Ctenolucius Hujeta Compatibility
Hello, Well Im going to be buying myself 3 barracudas for my 300 gallon that I will be getting as a present for my birthday pretty soon. And well I was wondering what can go with a group of 3 hujetas? I have them in a 60 gallon for now till i get my 300 gallon. They are all 4" each and I have another tank that is also a 60 gallon which has a 6" Silver Arowana. Can I put the Arowana with the group of barracudas? Or will their be a disaster? And so please notify me with other fishes that may be compatible with my barracudas. And Please post some of your barracudas in a full tank view to give me an idea how to setup my 300 gallon. And lastly is it true that they like their tank planted? And I know they need alot of open swimming spaces.Thx =D

Depending upon the size of the fish, the arowannas may eat yor barracuda. Or visa versa. Some arowannas also have a nasty temperment and may kill anything and everything else in the tank.

really.... =0 mines really isnt tempermental towards other fishes in the tank.I heard their peaceful but may be aggressive towards its own kind. And they are only aggressive feeders when they are alone.
