Stocking 20G long

Hey guys, I have an established 20G tank. It's been up for atleast 6 months now and is holding 1 male guppy, 4 female bettas, 3 neon tetras, 5 otos, and 5 kuhli loaches. It's still a work in progress, but I'm thinking about changing up my stock list. I have an older 10G tank and i'm planning on moving the neons, guppy, and 2 otos(possibly) to that tank. Maybe even the bettas, leaving my 20G almost empty of mid/top level swimmers. Any suggestions on what kinds of peaceful fish to get? I'm about to begin a DIY Light strip piece, then i will be adding much more live plants. I honestly don't really like the way the tank looks as of now, as i think ti's kinda empty in terms of plants/ornaments.

For a 20 gallon tank the 20 longs are really the way to go. They look nice and give more swimming room for the fish.

How about an Asian themed fairly heavily planted tank with a school of Harlequin Rasboras, the Kuhlis and maybe even the female bettas. The female bettas would do better in the 20L rather than the 10 as they would have a bit bigger territory to get away from each other.
