Dream Tank?
 
Sometime in the future, i want to have one giant tank in my house(: I have six tanks set up right now, but they are all quite small, and I'm in high school. BUT ANYWAYS!

This fish I want ot keep are:

Spotted Gar
Clown Loaches
Discus
Pleccos (smaller colorful ones not common)
Rafael Catfish
Black ghost knife
yoyo loaches

What size tank would I be looking at? Are theese fish compatible? :o

If we're talking 'dream tank', then might as well go all out... Spotted Gar might work... Plecos are a no-no with Discus... They can latch onto their side in order to eat their slime.

May I reccomend a Montoro Ray? They do well with Discus, and would definately be in my 'dream tank'.

The tank might work, but you have too many bottom dwellers... I'm not sure they'd have enough toom to swim.

I'd say pick 1 or 2, and put them with discus.

I know based on the ghost knife and discus you'll be needing pretty large tank. 75 would be the minimum, but you'd probably want to go larger.

since clowns and discus like a group, I'd actually say you should get a 90g

My Dream Tank: 10,000 gallon flooded forest

Rescue arowanas, pacus, red tail catfish, ect. from craigslist and lfs

That would be awesome(: I always said If I ever got a built in pool, I'd stock it with RTCs and other giant creatures, but that would be much too hard to control :/ Haha, and I would miss swimming :P
