Moldy grass
 

Hello,

I have a type of freshwater grass. Lots of it was brown when i bought it. And now the brown parts are getting this weird fuzzy white mold on them. Is this a problem? I just have it planted in some gravel, my other plants seem to be doing just fine, but this one seems to a problem. My tank is really new and has only been running for zbout a week now.

why did you buy it if it was brown? White is probably a fungus, best thing to do is to toss it asap to be safe.

Several grass-like plants are extrememly hard to keep alive without CO2 supplementation and high light.
I you want a grass-like plant, I'd try dwarf sag and toss that dead plant you have at the moment.
