First and foremost I have a 55gal tank. It contains 1 paradise fish 1 red tail shark 1 chinese allege eater 2 kissers 1 angel 1 groumi. I also have 8 live plants. The other day I was at my lfs and they had babies for sale. I picked up 3 and a tank divider. I thought it would be cool to raise them to full size. When I got home and did some research I realized...... These Jewels are  . How do you think they will do growing up with these other fish? I currently have them with one runt kisser and they all do well together.
Jewel cichlids are aggressive and your angel and paradise fish will have their fins trimmed in no time. Your tank consists too many aggressive fish. Adult CAEs tend to suck the slime coat of other fish and your gouramis and angel are the likeliest victims.
I made a great choice  . Thanks for the reply.
