The main difference with all livebearers is that the female has a normal looking fan shaped anal fin, while the males anal fin has turned into a gonopodium (sex organ) and is more spiked shape....pics showing difference taken from Tropical Fish - Breeding Guppies mollies and other livebearers

Female in lieft picture, Male on the right..... Hope this helps!

The females are almost always bigger in the belly area as they are almost constantly pregnant!!!! When the belly squares off \___/ like this then they should be popping out babies quite soon... Good luck with your new fishies!:-)

I saved this picture to my computer to help me remember:

The females anal fin is rounded, whereas the males anal fin is pointed.
