oh my god!!!
any one have hints or tips on keeping your electricity bill down with alot of tanks on your premesis? my latest bill has doubled since this time last year........ the energy company tells me its cos my heaters are working harder cos of it being a colder winter than last year but its also more than double my last bill.... all i know is its annoying... and i dont really want to get rid of any tanks, lol
If you can control the ambient temp of the room and keep it closer to the tanks temps, it won't kick in the heater as much. Likewise, keep the tanks on inside walls as they tend to get temperature fluctuations from outside walls. You can also lower the heater level to the lower temperatures your fish will tolerate during winter months.
