Is my swordtail okay?
I came home today and my swordtail in my 29g tank had a black line down his body. I had never seen it before. He was also acting droopy, hiding and not swimming a whole lot. There is nothing wrong with any of my other fish and swordtail. there isn't anything else on him beside the line if anybody else has had this prob or knows what it is and what i can do for him, it would be helpful
Woah, large font. Haha. First off, what are your water parameters? Did you notice if anything is off, ei nitrites, nitrate, ammonia, temperature, so on and so fourth. Is the black line a single black line, or multiple? Is it horizontal or vertical? Thick or thin? How many fish are in your tank total?
i have a 29g high and about 20 or so fish in it around the same size as him. i have all of those fish u see in my signature . the line is not really thick but not to small either. i would attach a pic but he is always hiding. there is only one line and its going horizontel from his head to his tail. i also noticed he scrapes his body on the rocks and plants in my tank. i tested my water and nothing is off and it really is perfect. please help!
