How long do you spend watching your aquaria? I spend 20-30 minutes whenever I am in the tanks' vicinity. |
Usually 30-60 min a day. |
I spend far too long watching mine when I should be getting ready for work in the morning... I suppose I'm just trying to delay having to go! I always watch the fish during feeding when I get home from work and also before lights-out. It's very relaxing. |
I tend to feed my fish slowly, and watch them as they eat. Maybe 30 mins usually. During water changes when I sometimes rearrange rocks and do a little aquascaping I can watch the tank for around an hour, moving things around. I find myself watching my tank more on my days off from work. |
Sometimes 5hrs a day. |
I've been bad. I got a new XBox 360. :( Before that, hours. |
i try to spend at least an hour a day watching mine... usually in the evening. no lights on in the house, no tv, no internet, no phone. it helps me wind down before bed to watch my congo tetras and debauwi cats chase each other around the tank or my angelfish laying eggs (again). |
Folks: I guess that I am fortunate. I have my aquarium "set up in" one of my "living areas" across the room from my home work area. I very often rotate my chair 90 degrees to watch my fishies. I always watch them after I feed them one of my mixtures, brine shrimp, etc. TR |

Lately I haven't spent so much time watching them but generally I spend ages because, like Ron, I have my tanks in my living room, and the main one is right next to "my end of the couch" so even thoguh it might only be 5-10 minutes at a time, it probably works out at quite a lot throughout the day. |
10-15 minutes a day.. LOL... sometimes more.. |
