Hello everybody I am Jim Have a 75gal Full of Gourami And a 55 gal full of Chocolate Gourami
Hi Jim welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping!
Hello Jim, welcome to TFK forum.
Chocolate Gourami are lovely; I had a group of both species, the more common Sphaerichthys osphromenoides and the near-identical Sphaerichthys selatanensis and the first spawned often over several months and some fry survived among the floating plants. I had several generations until quite suddenly something wiped them out. As I'm sure you know, they are very sensitive fish and prone to skin issues.
Which species have you?
I have the Sphaerichthys Osphromenoides. It took me a long time to get the tank right so they would stay a live. I have had the ones I got now for all most a year. They are a lot of work. 10% water change every day. Have 2 Males and 8 Female.
welcome to the tropical fish keeping forums!!
