fluval chi with shrimp hello, i am think about changing my chi to a shrimp and low light plants is this ok i know about they could jump i can make a lid if needed please. |
Hello, Shrimp are awesome ! They do not need a lot of space so a Chi should be great. You should have a lid as some shrimp species can wander. I would suggest Amano shrimp since they are very tough little buggers and they don't reproduce in Fresh water so you can control the population. However most shrimp would do great. I would stay away from filter shrimp until the tank is well established. They eat little bits and debris in the water and there simply will not be enough for them yet in a new tank. RCS are also nice, and ghost shrimp are cheap (sold as feeders) but equally interesting. IMO anyways. |
