A full Cory shoal for the first time.
I added 2 more Corys to my group of 4 Sterbai. Not only are they more active, they don't swim away as much when I come into the room or get closer for a better look. They seem much happier, and I find that they feel much safer and all go to the top to gulp some air at the same time, and more frequently as well whereas it was rare and used to go only one at a time, if even.
Splendid creatures, these catfish are.
I will take some pics tonight, I need to buy a club pack of batteries for my camera, I swear. Between my 360 controller and my DC, I don't know what's worse!
I'll take some shots of my Cories tonight during dinner time, and maybe even my Vampire Shrimp if he comes out again. He came out of his hiding place the other night during feeding, knocked my socks off! :D
Sorry I haven't taken the pictures lately, but my fish are acting odd. They don't seem to be shoaling as much. Very scattered around the tank, and yesterday one of my new Cories died. He was swimming erratically, then eventually he was just lying on the floor on his side, gills flapping, swaying in the current. It was sad, all the other Cories actually gathered around him. Then eventually his gills just stopped. :(
Going to the LFS today, still debating whether I should purchase a replacement.
