Snails on new plants

Hey everyone, happy to be back online :)

My question involves those annoying little snails on live plants bought at my LFS. Is there a good way to remove them from the plants so my new 55G does not become infested? Thanks!

Remove any eggs you see and you can put bait for them which would be a big of food so they all climb onto it and you can get a latge amount out that way.

Thanks Julie. It makes me nervous doing it cause I don't want them in the tank at all!

Control feeding rations. A large food source is often the cause for snail population boom.
