A good substrate
 

Hello all. I recently purchased a 65 gallon tall that I'd planned on turning into a Discus tank. I was wondering what the best type of substrate would be? I'm going to be adding some Amazon Sword, Micro Crypt, and Java Fern. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks.

I just use the standard river rock as it looks more natural. For the java fern though, I would suggest getting some driftwood. I would advise against the flourite, it's a pain to clean and keep clean. ;)

I just bought some Eco-Complete yesterday. It's extremely clean and easy to work with.
