Sad day to be a Neon Tetra
 

Super rookie mistake made today and I feel bad for the lil guy.

I was cleaning out my tank and had a bunch of dead leafs everywhere so I took off the bottom piece of the filter that doesent allow large objects to enter so it can clear up the dead leafs. I thought for a split sec about the neons but then said nahhhhh.

Lets just say I should of went with my gut instinct. I went to glance at the tank and noticed the School of tetras was off, they were distant from each other. So I counted and only counted 5 when I should have 6. Checked the filter and yea you know the rest....SMH :x

First death in over 4 years...

Aw, sorry to hear but i must say, 4 years without a death tells me you definately take care of your fish and are doing a great job
