55 gallon stocking

My 55 has 2 tetra ex70 filters lots of driftwood and plants. My current stock is 15 tiger barbs, 10 columbian tetra, 1 bristlenose pleco, 1 redtail black shark and a pair of gbr's. I do a 50% water change weekly. I read somewhere that Byron has 80 fish in a 70 gallon tank. I realize many factors effect stocking such as size, compatibility, plants, filtration and maintenance, but I still don't have it down. I am happy with my current stock, but I love buying new fish, so I am wondering if I room for something else and if so what would you recommend?

I'm not familiar with the term "gbr" but that tank sounds fully stocked to me. I wouldn't add anything more.

Gbr = German Blue Ram

I agree, I wouldn't add anymore.

I agree with Dawn and jeaninel.

And as my name was mentioned...as you correctly say, many factors affect the number of fish. Their compatibility has a major role in this. And the behaviours of some of the fish listed would in themselves limit the number of other species.

Byron.
